ASIS Foundation CPP Certification Exam Scholarship

We have a great opportunity for members of the Boston Chapter who are interested in taking the CPP Certification exam. The ASIS Foundation is offering all ASIS Chapters the gift of a free CPP Certification exam to award to one member of the chapter. This program is called the CPP Accelerator Scholarship.

To apply for this scholarship, in addition to being a member in good standing of the Boston chapter, you must meet the eligibility requirements necessary to take the CPP Certification exam. The eligibility requirements for the CPP Certification exam are:

  • Nine years of security experience*, at least three years of which shall have been in responsible charge* of a security function.

    -Or-

  • Earn a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education and have at least seven years of security experience*, at least three years of which shall have been in responsible charge* of a security function.

    -And-

  • Be employed full time in a security -related role.
  • Not have been convicted of any criminal offense that would reflect negatively on the security profession, ASIS, or the Certification program.
  • Sign and agree to abide by the ASIS Certification Code of Conduct.
  • Agree to abide by the policies of the ASIS Certification program as outlined in the Certification Handbook.
