Mentoring Security Leaders
We are excited to announce that the ASIS International Boston Chapter is continuing its "Mentoring Program" for a third year. The ASIS International “Mentoring Security Leaders” program is a career development methodology whereby ASIS members (Protégés) are matched with experienced ASIS colleagues (Mentors) for guidance and professional advice. Within this program the Protégé will gain knowledge and experience in dealing with immediate business-level requirements.
This program is for people at all levels in their careers who may want some specialized help in a particular skill, competency, change in industry sector or even move to a different role in the industry. The Mentor/Protégé relationship also provides a conduit for comprehension of the requirements for advancement towards future career paths within the security field.
The program is designed to promote long term leadership and career development through a one-on-one Mentor-Protégé relationship, as the Mentors share their experiences and advice on career advancement, professional visibility, networking and overcoming barriers to career success. It is an excellent way to get invaluable, confidential executive coaching at no cost as well as career advice along with essential skills for the business world!
