May 27 - 29, 2015 - Training Program
Security Awareness/Behavioral Recognition Training
The Boston Chapter of ASIS, International is pleased to be hosting yet another outstanding educational forum. Members can choose between a one-day introductory training or a three-day "train-the-trainer" course.
The topic is Security Awareness Using Behavioral Recognition... Keeping patrons, employees and property free of liability and criminal acts is a daunting task for any organization, its infrastructure, patrons, employees and the security professionals within. The art of detecting and countering potentially illicit behavior lies in recognizing the early warning signals often exhibited by rule breakers, criminals and violent extremists. Developing human intelligence and deploying behavior recognition methods to a threat continuum will better help identify high frequency/low threat incidents to low frequency/high threat occurrences, ultimately establishing a safer workplace and environment for all.
Protecting the Homeland Innovations (PHI) provides training on Security Awareness and Vigilance for Everyone™ (S.A.V.E. Methodology for Security Professionals). PHI provides proactive threat mitigation training using an additional, effective layer of security to recognize high risk behavior targeted at our nations critical infrastructures.
The founders of PHI are Master Instructors who are all sworn law enforcement officers who collectively have over 100 years of law enforcement experience. Their team has taught this course to over 12,000 federal, state, and local police and security officers from over 200 agencies and more than 17,000 civilian front line employees. Todd McGhee is one of those founders.
Due to the overwhelming, positive feedback we’ve received regarding Todd McGhee’s presentation at the Boston Chapter Expo, we have coordinated with him to offer the S.A.V.E. Methodology for Security Professionals to the Boston Chapter ASIS and IAHSS members at a significant cost savings.
Participants completing this course may be eligible to receive Continuing Professional Education credit or CPEs toward ASIS re-certification. Individuals seeking re-certification credit should check with ASIS and review the filing process at: https://www.asisonline.org/Certification/Recertification/Pages/default.aspx
